What is the Celebrant’s role?  What does the Celebrant’s fee cover?

Your choice of celebrant is one of the most important decisions you will make for your wedding day. The celebrant is the least costly part of your wedding, and is most important to the success of your day and your memories. Do not choose a celebrant on price alone, your relationship with your celebrant is critical. It is essential that you feel comfortable and confident that your celebrant will deliver the kind of ceremony that you are hoping for.

Once a ceremony is booked with me, I am always available, in person, by email or phone, to guide and assist you, to make you aware of all your options, and answer any questions that you may have.

The most important thing to me is that you have the best possible ceremony that you could have.

  • My fee includes;
  • A no obligation appointment to discuss your requirements.
  • Explanation of all legal requirements.
  • Preparation of all legal documents.
  • Lodgement of all signed and completed documents with Registrar.
  • Unlimited emails, phone calls, and personal meetings.
  • Information package with various samples, which may be used during the course of the ceremony.
  • Assistance with the preparation and creation of the ceremony.
  • On-site rehearsal if required.
  • My travel costs within the Margaret River Wine Region.
  • Quality portable PA system.
  • Hand held microphone for your readers.
  • Your ceremony music can be played (iPod or cd) through my PA if required.
  • Presentation marriage certificate.
  • Keepsake copy of your ceremony.
  • Table, 2 chairs and cloth, (if not provided by your venue,) for the signing of certificates.
  • Be assured that I will dress to fit in with your wedding.
  • And of course, a professional and personal presentation of your ceremony, setting the scene for a very special wedding day.

The only other cost associated with your marriage, is for the registered marriage certificate, which is obtainable after your marriage has been registered, from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages for a cost of $44. This will be required if you are changing your name, as the presentation certificate you receive at your wedding is no longer recognised as a legal document.
